TAXI
The taxi has a monopoly on marauding, that is to say the ability to actively seek out a customer in the street. Its pricing is horokilometric: a physical meter placed on board calculates the number of kilometers traveled and the duration of the race to define the price thereof. The taxi has hidden costs such as approach costs, and has complex pricing.
VTC
The VTC (passenger car with driver) historically transports customers via a prior reservation (between 1 minute and several months in advance) made by telephone, e-mail, or via mobile application. The VTC is prohibited from marauding and its price must be fixed in advance. The VTC has no hidden costs and the pricing is fixed from the moment of booking.
